20 women cricketers finalised for Nepal series camp
LAHORE, Feb 2: The national women’s cricket selection committee has announced the names of 20 probables for the training camp, which will be set up to prepare the Pakistan team for the upcoming three-match T20 series against Nepal.
All the matches of the series will be held at the Muridke Academy ground from Feb 9 to 16.
It has also been decided that since Lahore Regional U-19 team has won the recent U-19 National Championship, so they should be awarded one Twenty20 match against the visiting Nepal team as an incentive for their good performance and it will be played on Feb 12 at the same ground.
The matches between Pakistan and Nepal teams will be played on Feb 11, 14, 15.
The selection committee headed by Muhammad Ilyas along with Farrukh Zaman and Ehtashamuddin short-listed 20 girls for the camp which is scheduled from Feb 6-8 at Muridke.
