Ganesh Bhandari

Hello and Namaste,

My name is Ganesh Bhandari. I was born in a beautiful village called Baglung, situated eight hours (by bus) away from t he capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. I was raised in a big family, I have two sisters and four brothers and my beautiful mother. Unfortunately my father passed away  many years ago. I have studied at Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, majoring in Accounting. Have also done some IT courses as well. I love to fix computers and when I have some spare time, I am always fixing computers.

At the moment I am living in Melbourne, with my wife, Thalia Bhandari. We have been living together for the past two and a half years. We married in Nepal and have a great life here. I love Australia. With so many nationalities and diversity, in some ways reminds me of my home town. In Nepal also we have many different nationalities and ethnicities.

I am currently working in Aged Care. I love working with the elderly. I love to help people and be of service. I currently am working as a lifestyle and leisure assistant. It’s really awesome. The only down side is that the residents die and I miss them very much. But I suppose every job has its up side and down side.

I have created these blogs to show my country Nepal and as a way to not miss my country so much. I want to also provide valuable information on Mt.Everest so any tourists or anyone that is wanting to travel to Nepal can find the information they need with ease and comfort. I am covering all aspects of Mt.Everest. From the small trivial things to the most important things on Mt.Everest.
